Interviewer: Muto Daisuke ・・・・・・Independent dance critic, Associate Professor at Gunma Prefectural Women's University. His current research interest is the global history of modernism in dance in the 20th century as a phenomenon triggered by the encounter of the West and Asia. Co-author of "History of Ballet and Dance" (Japanese, Heibonsha: Tokyo, 2012). His papers include "Kazuo Ohno's 1980" and "Anti-spectacle Strategy in Yvonne Rainer's "Trio A"" (both in Japanese) among others.

2012年2月2日、東京の森下スタジオにおいて、トークとワークイン・プレグレスのプレゼンテーションを行いました。テキャルは、映像を見せながらトルコのコンテンポラリーダンスの成立と状況を概観し、自分の作品をその中に位置づけて紹介しました。トークに基づいた「針穴を通して見る」が、セゾン文化財団のニュースレター「view point」59号(2012年5月30日発行)に掲載されています。

The public talk by Aydin Teker and short presentation of the work-in-progress by Jun Kawasaki were conducted on Feb. 2, 2012, at Morishita Studio in Tokyo. Teker first introduced a short history and current scene of contemporary dance in Turkey, and introduced her works by mapping in the scene, while showing some video clippings. Her essay based on this talk has been published in "view point" no. 59 (May 2012), the news letter of the Saison Foundation (Japanese only).

2012年1月26日から29日までの4日間、埼玉県川口市のタタミスタジオの共催で、同スタジオでアイディン・メソッドのワークショップを開催しました。

第1日：身体の面、身体の中心線、中心重力について

第2日：頭部、頸椎と中心線の関係について

第3日：骨盤、大腿骨と中心線の関係について

第4日：脊髄、胸骨と中心線の関係について

4日間連続受講者、1日単独受講者、ダンスや演劇にかかわっている方々、ミュージシャン、整体師、ヨガ・インストラクターなど様々でしたが、延べ20名ほどの方が参加しました。連日、骨模型を使いながら骨と関節の仕組みを学び、自分の身体の中心線がどこにあるのかを正確に理解し、それを動きに繋げていくという、とても興味深いものでした。

The workshops by Aydin Teker were conducted at Tatami Studio, Saitama Prec., from Jan. 26 to 30, 2012.

Day 1: Planes, central line, and central gravity of the body.

Day 2: Skeleton of the head and first two vertebras (atlas and axis), and their relations with the central line.

Day 3: Pelvis and femur, and their relations with the central line.

Day 4: Spine and rib cage , and thier relations with the central lin.

The partcipants came from different backgrounds - dancers, theater practioners, musicians, body work practioner, yoga instructor, etc. They learned the skeleton of the body, using the bone models, understood the central line of their own body, and practised how to move keeping the central line.
